'Pitch in for Pets' benefit planned in Albion

To celebrate National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week (November 5-11) and to help P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter continue its work in rescuing stray animals, 89.1 The Point, WBSU in Brockport, and Subway will team up to present "Pitch in for Pets," with all donations going to P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter of Albion.

89.1 The Point will be outside of Subway in Albion with collection bins on November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants are asked to donate any cleaning supplies (especially Clorox), old towels or blankets, old throw rugs, dog collars, canned pet foot, pet toys and other items. Monetary donations will also be accepted and greatly appreciated. Donations will go towards P.A.W.S. to help them continue their mission of rescuing stray animals.

Participants will receive prizes from Subway ranging from cookies to sandwiches.
