Public invited to info meeting on
Luster Coate site redevelopment project

Lotus Development Inc. will hold a public information meeting on Thursday, November 30, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Churchville Village Hall to review the current status of the company's proposed cleanup and redevelopment of the Luster Coate manufacturing site. Earlier this year, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation accepted the company's application to reclaim the site under the New York State Brownfield program. In the coming months Lotus Development, with the assistance of Larsen Engineers, will be preparing a remediation work plan, applying for rezoning and eventually work with a private developer to redevelop the entire site.

Residents and businesses in the Village of Churchville and Town of Riga are welcome to attend to receive an update on the project to date, and ask questions pertaining to the Brownfield program and the site's condition, and future use considerations.
