Batavia resident elected president of GCC Foundation
The Board of Directors of the Genesee Community College Foundation elected John C. Dwyer president of the foundation at its annual meeting November 14. Dwyer is a Batavia resident. He is a former CEO of the Genesee County Industrial Development Agency (now Genesee County Economic Development Center) and former co-owner of Thomas and Dwyer Shoes.
The board also elected Charles Cook of Bergen as first vice president; Stuart Steiner of Batavia as second vice president; Toni Ann Moore of Leicester as secretary; and Lynn E. Browne of Batavia as treasurer.
New directors elected to the thirty-member board include: Patrick C. Forsyth of Batavia; Benjamin C. Mancuso III of Batavia; Russell Romano of Batavia; James T. Rudgers of Geneseo; Thomas R. Turnbull of Batavia; James Whipple of Albion.
