Jake Gildemeister and Peggy Kennedy display some of the bags of food stuff they have collected from other residents on Hillside Drive in Hilton. Kennedy had noted a November 26 Letter to the Editor in Suburban News that the Hilton Parma Emergency Food Shelf needed donations, so she decided to do something about that. She started canvassing the neighborhood to obtain food, accompanied by her dog, Cody, and Jake, a neighborhood boy. They have made several trips already, collecting 21 bags of canned and boxed food, and will be going out this weekend to collect more goodies and plan to deliver the whole lot to the Hilton Food Shelf on Tuesday.
