Kendall Dinner Theater celebrates the glitz and glamour of Hollywood

Kendall's Junior and Senior High School Choruses brought the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to town with their "Hooray for Hollywood" Dinner Theater fundraiser in November. Guests were greeted by Hollywood star look-alikes, such as Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, John Wayne and Charlie Chaplin, while strolling the "Hollywood Walk of Fame." After guests enjoyed an elegant buffet, the 87-member Junior High Chorus performed a movie-theme medley of 19 songs. Then the 103-member Senior High Chorus took the audience through 90 years of Hollywood movie hits. Nearly a dozen students also performed solos during the dinner hour. The fundraiser gives chorus students the opportunity to travel to New York City in April to perform and see a Broadway musical.
