John Biegas' runner at the third quarter buzzer gave the Bees a one point third quarter lead before Holley again went ahead early in the fourth on baskets by Wharron and a three-pointer from Jason Lutes.
Holley's Tyler Keys led all scorers with 22 points. Lutes added nine and Wharron had seven points to go with his team high 10 rebounds. The Hawks will play for the first part of the season with two starters out with a broken arm and broken thumb, respectively.
