Custom motorcycle raffle set, proceeds to charity

Spencerport-based Cenzi Motorcycle Company will unveil a special custom motorcycle on Saturday, December 23 at 11 a.m. at the Mall at Greece Ridge during the Breakfast Buzz Christmas Spectacular Radiothon. One person will be able to win the motorcycle through a drawing to be held in June at the 2007 Cenzi Motorcycle Ride for Cancer to benefit the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

“This is a great way to help raise money for a very worthy cause,” says Tony Cenzi, president of Cenzi Motorcycle Company, who designed the motorcycle and will help in its assembly. “One person will win the motorcycle, but everyone who buys tickets will be helping the J.P. Wilmot Cancer Center.”

Tickets to enter the drawing will cost $10 each, or three tickets for $20. The motorcycle retails for $30,000. “We’re grateful for this donation from Tony Cenzi and hope that people recognize the incredible opportunity they have to win this one-of-a-kind motorcycle,” says Richard I. Fisher, M.D., director of the Wilmot Cancer Center.

All proceeds from the sale of tickets will be donated to the J.P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center. There are 5,000 tickets available for the drawing.

On Sunday, June 3, the first 2007 Cenzi Motorcycle Ride for Cancer to benefit the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center will be held in Rochester. Information on the ride will be available in January. Sponsorship opportunities for the motorcycle ride are available.
