Hawks fall at home
Holley managed just one basket in each of the first three quarters to fall behind 39-7 and ultimately lose to Northstar Christian Academy 59-14 in girl's basketball.
Jamilyn Tacinto knocked down a three-point shot with just over two minutes remaining in the first quarter and Lisa Barrett made a shot with 10 seconds left in the first half as Holley trailed by 23 points.
Nickole Sauer hit a lay-up for the Hawks' only points of the third quarter before the offense opened up with seven points in the final stanza by Jen Smith along with a three-pointer and field goal from Tacinto.
Tacinto led the Hawks, who fall to 0-3 for the season, with eight points. Jessica Sauer led Holley in rebounding.
