Kathi A. Rickman, CMC, town clerk/tax receiver of the Town of Hamlin, has been accepted as a member in the Master Municipal Clerk Academy Program of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC). The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the Certified Municipal Clerk Award.
Amy Kohler, daughter of Mark and Ann Kohler of Spencerport, has been named to the fall 2006 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. Kohler, a freshman, is a communications major.
To be eligible for the dean's list at St. John Fisher College, a student must have attained at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.
Brian Kohler, son of Mark and Ann Kohler of Spencerport, has been named to the fall 2006 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. Kohler, a junior, is a criminal justice major.

Johnson & Wales University student Katrina Collinsworth of Brockport, who is pursuing an associate's degree in hotel management from the Hospitality College at the Providence Campus, has been named to the dean's list for the 2006 fall term. To receive dean's list commendation, students must earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.40 or above.
Christopher A. Jones of Churchville, currently a sophomore at University at Buffalo in the pre-pharmacy program, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester with a 3.73 average. He is hoping to pursue a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
He is the son of Laurie Kalwas of Churchville.
Alexandra Liccione, daughter of Tony and Patty Liccione of Hamlin, has been named to the fall 2006 dean's list at St. John Fisher College in Rochester with a 4.0 average. Liccione, an honors and service scholar, and a sophomore, is a business major with a concentration in finance and minor in accounting.

Assemblyman Bill Reilich (R,C,I-Greece) was appointed to head the Steering Committee for the Assembly Republican Conference. The appointment involves traveling throughout the state and promoting conference proposals.
Reilich will also focus on reducing burdensome taxes, reforming the dysfunction in Albany and improving the economic climate throughout New York state.
PFC Mark Vaughn has completed U. S. Marine Boot Camp at Parris Island, South Carolina. Mark was selected as the honor graduate for his platoon and as such, received a meritorious promotion to Private First Class. He is currently continuing his training in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina.
Vaughn is a 2006 graduate from Spencerport High School. He is the son of Charlie and Kathy Vaughn and the brother of Kylie, Mike and Katie.
