American Legion officers visit

A testimonial dinner honoring the American Legion Department of N.Y. officers will be held on Saturday, February 10 at the Chili Legion Post, Chili-Scottsville Road. Department Commander James Casey, Department President Joan Caccamo and SAL Commander Albert Deichler will be greeted by County Commander Rene Vermuellen and County President Margaret Alaimo and friends. This will include 7th District President Vickie Milton and 7th District Commander.

A social hour begins at 5, dinner will be at 6 p.m. There is a choice of roast beef or chicken French, $17. Both Commanders Casey and Deichler have chosen their special project as American Legion National Emergency Fund and President Caccamo's is the Special Olympics. Send menu choice and check made out to Monroe County American Legion to either Legion dinner chairman Pete Verzillo, 30 Tallwood Drive, Hilton, NY 14468 (392-2356) or co-chairman Marilyn Carpenter, 1344 Schlegel Road, Webster, NY 14580 (265-9633). No tickets will be sold at the door, but they will be held at the door.
