wins in Florida Bright Raven gymnasts traveled to Coral Springs, Florida to participate in the Junior Orange Bowl on January 12-14. At this international competition, the Level 5 team captured first place with Nicole Bell of Gates taking first all around in the senior division with a score of 34.40. In the individual events, Bell was also first on vault, second on bars and floor and third on beam. In the Level 5 Junior division, Megan Boyce of LeRoy placed second on bars and third on floor. Gabriella Garcea of Churchville and Ariel Johnsen of Greece also contributed to the Level 5 team win. Competing in the Level 9 Senior division, Justine Picciano of Henrietta took first place on balance beam and Kerry Apeland of Chili was third on the uneven parallel bars. In the Level 10 Junior division, Sarah Moore of Fairport took third place all around with a 34.725. She also placed second on beam and third on floor. Kailee Spusta of Macedon competed in the senior division and earned third place on floor exercise. Bright Raven's Level 4 Team brought home the third place team banner with Brooke Adam of Greece, Samantha Garcea of Churchville, Hannah Thomas of North Chili and Meagan Bell of Gates contributing to the team effort.
