Local winners in
K of C free throw contest advance

Over 30 Hilton-area youngsters competed at the local level of the annual Knights of Columbus Free-throw contest held at Merton Williams Junior High School. Boys and girls ages 10-14 shoot 15 free throws each and the winners in each age category advance to the next level of competition. The local Knights from St. Leo’s Church were on hand to record all the entries as well as document the winners. The following Hilton youth will advance to the District round that will be held on Saturday, February 10 at noon in the gymnasium of the Quest School in Hilton: Boys - age 10 - Paul Marciano, age 11 - Nicholas Prince, age 12 - Sean Mack, age 13 - Robert Updike, age 14 - Matt Fiske.
