Constituent relations aide appointed

Frank X. Allkofer of Gates has joined Senator George Maziarz's staff to serve as a constituent relations aide.

"Frank is well known in Monroe County and this will be a great way for him to continue serving the people of our area," Maziarz said. "I have every confidence in Frank's ability to be a vital link between citizens and their state government."

Allkofer was employed as the recreation director for the Town of Gates from 1970 to 2000, and as Monroe County Parks Director from 2000 until his retirement last year. He is a member of the Gates Town Board.

Allkofer will be staffing Maziarz's satellite office on the SUNY Brockport campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Constituents may reach the office at (585) 637-5800. Allkofer will attend community meetings and events on Senator Maziarz's behalf.
