Extension hosts nutrition web cast

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County will host the Iowa State University 36th Annual Current Issues in Nutrition interactive web cast. The interactive video web cast will be held on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Extension office, 420 E. Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020.

This year's topic, Successful Aging: Lifelong Strategies for Health and Wellness, will focus on the role of nutrition and physical activity in healthy aging, explore social, community, and governmental support needed by older adults and reflect on the effects of societal and personal ageism.

Cost is $20 per person and includes lunch. The conference carries five continuing education units for RDs, CFCS, CDM, Nursing Home Administrators and Physician Assistants.
