Holley awarded state Learning Technology grant

Holley Central School District has been awarded a New York State Learning Technology Grant in the amount of $49,916 per year for three years. The district will share the grant with Brockport Central School District and Sandy Creek Academy, however Holley will receive the bulk of the grant, which is $38,862 per year, $116, 586 over the course of three years. The first year's allotment must be expended prior to June 30 this year.

The funds will be used for educational technology at the Middle School to help enhance the district's English Language Arts (ELA) program. The district will purchase laptop computers and software that will enhance ELA instruction across the curriculum.

Holley worked with the Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES Grant Writing Service to obtain the grant.
