BROCKPORT
Glynn, Helen E., Died March 6, 2007. Predeceased by parents William and Mary Beachel Glynn, brothers, William and James Glynn and sisters Mary (Wendell) Sweeting and Genevieve Glynn. Survived by brother George Glynn; niece Kathy (George) Krein; nephews William (Ruth Ann) Glynn, James (Ellen) and William (Ann) Sweeting; also survived by several great and great-great nieces and nephews. Helen was employed by the Schenectady City School District from 1929-1970 when she retired as principal of the Elmer Avenue Elementary School and returned to Brockport. In retirement, Helen enjoyed her activities in organizations such as Morgan Manning, Western Monroe Historical Society and Retired Teachers.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at Nativity Church BVM, Brockport at a date to be announced. Donations can be made to Nativity Church BVM, Brockport or the Lakeside Foundation in her memory.
Leistman, Clarence H., Age 91, on March 6, 2007. Predeceased by wives Marion Parker, and Harriet Rich. Survived by his wife Ruth; sons, Maurice (Jenny) of Crossville Tennessee, Gary (Alice) of Hamlin; nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Sokolowski, of Syracuse; and brother James VanDerBeck of Florida. Clarence was a retiree of Gleason Works and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Brockport.
A Memorial Service was held March 10 at the First Baptist Church, Brockport. Donations can be made to First Baptist Church in his memory.
Scoppa, Elizabeth, on March 3, 2007, at the age of 97. She is survived by her children, Carmen (Lucille) Scoppa, Dolores (Gene) Wood, Larry (Bettye) Scoppa; grandchildren, Chip (Susie) Scoppa, Teena Wood-Chechak, Dan (Carolyn) Scoppa, Kathy (Dan) Kewin, Rick Scoppa and Tom Scoppa; 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass was said March 6 at the Church of the Nativity of the BVM, Brockport. Contributions can be made to the Church of the Nativity Cemetery Fund in her memory.
HAMLIN
Behnke, Paul W., March 3, 2007. He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Marion Behnke; brothers Richard and Robert Behnke. Survived by his brother, David (Susan) Behnke; daughters, Debra (Milt) Waye, Darlene (Art) Brown, Lynn (Randy) Paap, Michele (Brian) Ocello; their mother Marcia Behnke; grandchildren, Elizabeth Waye, Joshua (Cary Ellen), Daniel and Lauren Brown, Kerstan, Allison and Emily Paap, Justin and Alisha Ocello; uncles, William (Jeanette) Behnke, Tom Mance; sister-in-law Sandra Behnke; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an Eastman Kodak retiree with 31 years service.
A Memorial Service was held March 10 at Fowler Funeral Home, Brockport. Donations can be made to the Hamlin Lions Club in his memory.
Bovenzi, Margaret, March 5, 2007 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband Domenick; daughter Mickey Hart; brothers and sisters. Survived by her children Phyllis Bovenzi, Dolly Crandall, Tony (Josie), Lynnette (John) Belle; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother Louie (Belle) Froce; special nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held March 9 at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
OGDEN
Kuntz, William F., March 1, 2007 at age 51. Predeceased by his father, Raymond C. Kuntz Sr.; mother, Mary Law; brother, Michael Kuntz. He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Kuntz; son, Billy (Irene) Kuntz; loving pets, Luke and Sadie; brothers and sisters, Ray (Barb) Kuntz, Mary Lou Kuntz, Dave (Jean) Kuntz, Helen (Bob) Thompson, Danny (Ann) Kuntz, Joey (Wendy) Kuntz, Beverly (Paul) Seldon, Tom (Daria) Kuntz; sister-in-law, Kathy Ciciotti; brother-in-law, Scott (Ang) Ferris; several nieces and nephews.

Quintern, Mary Patricia, March 5, 2007. Predeceased by son, Johnathan Lang Brown. She is survived by her husband, Ronald R.; son, Terry (Kristine) Brown of Florida; two daughters, Mary Beth Artuso, Sarah (Steve) Wasserman of Florida; step-daughter, Melanie (Ronnie) Kelly of Virginia; step-son, Ronnie R. Quintern of Arizona; two sisters, Barbara (Robert) Schropp of California, Betty Burly; two brothers, Thomas (Carol) Heisinger, Jack (Jean) Heisinger of Florida; nine grandchildren, Courtney, Megan P., Joey, Ryan, Jake, Anthony, Michael, Megan M., and Nicole; many nieces and nephews.

SPENCERPORT
Brotea, Judy E., March 7, 2007 at age 52. She is survived by her husband, George P. Brotea; her children Alina, Jason and Peter of Spencerport; her mother Mildred Andrews of Canada; her siblings Yvonne (Paul) Gosse, Susan (David) Mercer, Terry (Kathy) Andrews, Rosiland (Jeff) Roberts, Leonard (Ann Marie) Andrews and Paul Andrews, all of Canada; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Howard Andrews. Judy was an employee of Strong Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services were held March 9 at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Interment will be in Canada. Contributions can be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box 704, Rochester 14624 in her memory.
Griebel, Rita A., March 1, 2007, at age 91. Survived by her husband of 66 years, Frederick F. Griebel; her daughter Patricia (John) Hendricks; grandson, Todd (Connie) Hendricks; great-granddaughters Alison and Miranda; sister-in-law Anna (Jim) Gardner; nephew Hank (Judy) Gardner from Mesa, Arizona; beloved niece Shirley (Richard) Deruyscher; including her very close and dear friends Leon and Kathy Hinman and little Pamie Leonard; nieces and nephews. Rita retired after 25 years with Rochester Products.
A Memorial Mass was said March 5 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Interment at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be made to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance or The Chili Lions Club in her memory.
Osterhoudt, Francis R., March 4, 2007, at age 74. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Sue (Kenyon) Osterhoudt; his daughters Donna Rohrbacher of Buffalo and Debbie (Bill) Geil of Gates, his grandchildren Stephanie (Tom) Nickles, Matthew and Timothy Rohrbacher, Tara and Keith Geil; his sister Essie Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of East-man Kodak Co., an Air Force Veteran and member of Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post #330.
