The students at St. John the Evangelist School in Spencerport participated in the New York State Safe Child Program sponsored by the Monroe County Sheriff's Department. Deputy Charlie Campanella and Deputy Fred Follette took the students' pictures and fingerprints. Parents received a SAFE CHILD Card which included important facts about the child, their picture and fingerprints.
