On Saturday, February 24, the Rochester Disc Golf Association participated in the annual "Ice Bowl" which is held from New York to Hawaii. The event is played rain, snow or shine at a Rochester area disc golf course and benefits local charities with cash and food donations. This year, the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Department hosted the event and the Brockport Food Shelf was the recipient of more than $900 dollars and 15 bags of non-perishable food items.
