The Greater Churchville-Riga Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards dinner on March 8 at The Johnson House. Receiving the Business Person of the Year was Dr. Richard Parsons (far left), owner of Churchville Veterinary Hospital. Donna Haire (left center), director of the Newman Riga Library and her staff received the Citizens of the Year Award. The Ray Adams Cobblestone Community Building received the Civic Beautification Award. Ron Belzak (right center), Town of Riga historian, provided background on the building including a historical perspective.
