Hamlin Veterans group fundraising for flags

The Hamlin Veteran's Association formed a committee to purchase new flags to line the streets of Hamlin. The group has had three fundraisers and collected donations of close to $1,000 toward the project. The goal is to collect between $2,500 and $3,000. The funds will provide all new flags (2x3) and poles for 60 flags. The cost per pole is about $50.

The group is offering Memorial Flags and the pole number and location will be given to the donor. A plaque with all the names on it will be displayed at the V.F.W. post or town hall.
