The County/City 911 Center is the recipient of the prestigious 2007 Outstanding 911 Center Award from the E 9-1-1 Institute in Washington D.C. The award, which was presented at the fourth annual awards gala in Washington D.C. on March 13, recognizes the community's 911 Center as a leader in technology implementation and a national model for inter-governmental operations and cooperation.
