BOCES 2 receives Girl Scout award

The Department for Exceptional Children of the Board of Cooperative Education and Services for Monroe and Orleans Counties (BOCES 2) was honored with the Girl Scouts of America Circle of Friends Award. The award is presented to individuals, groups or organizations that have given of time, talent or treasure to the Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley, Inc.

The Department of Exceptional Children provided time and services in the form of collating and assembling marketing packets for the Girl Scouts spring recruitment campaign. This not only benefited the Scouts, but also benefited BOCES 2 students with work experience and a lesson in helping others.
