Rochester Futbol Club U11 Girls Division 1 finalists

Playing in their first tournament on April 21 and 22, the Rochester Futbol Club U11 Girls team swept their division at the 2007 Northern Ohio Cup, in Seville, Ohio, defeating four teams from the Pennsylvania and Ohio areas to gain entry into the final game, where they placed second in the championship playoff against the Michigan Rush Nike team from Northfield, Michigan.

During the awards ceremony, Coach Paul Schojan expressed his admiration for a "great first time out" to the group of 15 young ladies from Brighton, Greece, Fairport, Hilton, Penfield, Spencerport and Webster who comprise this new RFC team.

The Rochester Futbol Club, which is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year, provides an "elite level" soccer program for the young men and women of the Rochester area.
