Steadman 4-hitter leads Eagles

Holley took the lead in the first inning when catcher Tom Eberlin led off the home half of the inning with a triple to right. After Taylor Page walked, the two pulled off a double steal plating Eberlin, but Steadman ended the threat by striking out the side.
Kendall took the lead for good with a pair of runs in the third inning with a two out rally. Steadman singled to center and Cody Trimm reached on an error. A stolen base and a walk loaded the bases leading to Schaefer's two RBI double off the fence in center.
The Eagles added three more in the sixth. Schaefer walked and Scott Batty followed with a double to right center. Ryan Mitchell earned an RBI when he hit into a fielder's choice scoring Schaefer and Batty scored when the throw home eluded the catcher.
