Students create
art to help the arts
Holley second grader Alexandria Edwards holds the candy dish she made which is one of 20 that students in grades 2 to 6 created to raffle the evening of the school budget vote. One student from each class was asked to volunteer to make a dish. Raffle tickets were sold before and during the vote, then names were drawn that evening. Counseling Office Secretary Penny Cole was the winner of Alexandria's candy dish. A total of $90.50 was raised for the Holley Art Fund, which will help pay for art-related programs and activities.
