Spencerport High School students Tom Sochia, Margaret Meyerhofer and Steve Burek led the Monroe County teams in the New York Math League competition in New York City. Burek and Sochia competed on the Monroe County Math League A team and Meyerhofer competed on the Monroe County B team. Monroe County A won first place at the state meet. Burek and Sochia both won MVP for their teams. Meyerhofer won MVP for her team and won the Buzz competition. Each of the three students took home two medals for their performances at the state meet.
