The Hilton Hand and Heart Quilt Guild hosted an evening with nationally renowned quilt designer, teacher and speaker Pat Knoechel (l) on May 21 at the Community Center. More than 90 women attended. Knoechel is the sister of Evelyn Burns, the creator of Quilt in a Day books. Knoechel offered helpful hints and short cuts to beautiful quilts. Kathleen Davids (r), a long-time guild member, organized the program. Linda Luther was on hand with fabrics and supplies from the Pickett Fence Quilt Shop.
