Parma Open
Space CommitteeScott Copey, chairman of the Parma Open Space Committee, along with Town of Parma Trustee Jim Smith, and committee members Pat Buskey, Marilyn DeMeyer and Rick Holden stand next to the border of farmland adjacent to the southeast corner of the Village of Hilton. It's one of many sites the committee is looking at to identify and develop as part of a farm and open space preservation plan. Other members of the committee, formed in February 2007, include Don Harter, Tim Thomas and Tim Harner. The committee will soon be sending out a survey to town and village residents, gathering opinions on what the residents define as their concept of the character of the town and what they feel is most important to Parma.
