Register for Environmental Careers Outdoors (ECO) Camp

Environmental Careers Outdoors (ECO) Camp is a day camp for middle school youth interested in the environment. ECO Camp offers opportunities for children to learn about the many careers available in the "green industry." Youth work with landscapers, urban foresters, wildlife specialists d, horticulture experts, golf course owners, and environmental scientists. The week is full of "hands-on" activities that include being a guide for a Nature Center, taking a trip to a Conservation Field Station, and having a "shot" at sustainable golf course management.

ECO Camp is for any youth entering grades 7 through 9 in September and will be held at Tinker Nature Park August 13 through 17. For an application packet, call the 4-H Youth Development program at 461-1000 ext. 226.
