Spencerport Fire Department recruitment drive underway

The Spencerport Volunteer Firemen's Association, in conjunction with the Spencerport Fire District, is recruiting new members to join its ranks.

The Spencerport Fire District is accepting applications for volunteer firefighters (men and women, 18 and older) for the August recruit class. For information, visit the website at www.spencerportfire.org and click on the "Recruitment" page. There will be a downloadable application that must be filled out and mailed in by July 1. If the application is not available to download or if there is difficulty in downloading, call 529-2183 and leave a message and the department will mail one.

Applicants will be contacted by a fire department representative in July to further the application process.
