Spencerport varsity teams volunteer

Each of the Spencerport Central Schools varsity athletic teams participated in a volunteer community service/charity project through the Spencerport Student-Athletes Care Program during the 2006-07 spring season.

This spring, the Rangers varsity athletic teams have performed a variety of projects:

•Baseball - Hosted and conducted a Spencerport Junior Baseball Clinic

•Softball - Assisted with the High School's American Red Cross Blood Drive

•Boys Track - Assisted with the High School's American Red Cross Blood Drive

•Girls Track - Donated toys for the SSBC Toy Show Auction and assisted with clean up

•Boys Tennis - Donated toys for the SSBC Toy Show and Auction

•Golf - Assisted the SSBC with the Toy Show

•Girls Lacrosse - Raised money and participated in the Pink Ribbon (Breast Cancer) Race on Mother's Day

•Boys Lacrosse - Helped set up the SSBC Toy Show
