July 1, 2007 AREA •LaFaro, Joseph E. ("Joe the Cook") ("Papa Joe") ("Sonny"), Died June 18, 2007. He was a great Italian Chef of Rochester and opened many restaurants. Survived by children, Donna and Gene (Beth); grandchildren, Aaron, Nicholas and Amy; sisters, Rosie, Mammi, Lucille and Anna, all of Hornell, New York; many nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Mass was held June 30 at Holy Cross Church, Rochester. BERGEN •Anderson, John E., June 27, 2007 at age 58. He is predeceased by his parents Harold and Stephanie Anderson and his brother, George T. Anderson. He is survived by his siblings Harold J. (Ruby) Anderson Jr., Carolyn (Michael) Stimson and Marjorie A. Wallace. A Memorial Mass was said June 30 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Churchville. Survived by two sons, Richard (Barbara) Howard of Bergen; John (Laurie) Howard of Churchville; daughter, Jean (Chuck Streeter) Knobloch of Kent; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. Wife of the late Harold E. Howard and sister of the late Julia Hunt and Warren Robertson. Funeral Services were held June 23 at H. E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, Bergen. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Helen; daughter Carolyn (Harold) Mundy; two granddaughters Kristin (Keith) Evling, Cynthia Mundy; sister Angie (Lee) Briar of Hamden, Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. (Marion), June 20, 2007. Predeceased by her son, Samuel. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George Marion; daughters, Denise (Dean) Fulton and Joyce (Jerry) Westveer; brother, Frank (Marge) DiPasquale; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass was celebrated June 26 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brockport. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. June 20, 2007, at age 62, following a courageous battle with cancer. George is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Steve (Kyra); daughters, Lisa and Amy (Dennis); grandchildren, Sarah, Camryn and Alyson Mills; sisters, Ethel (Ken) Care and Harriet (Bob) McGetrick; brother, William Mills and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son, William E. Wilcox. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William W. Wilcox; children Margaret (Jim) Theriault, John (Judy) Wilcox, Bernice (Jim) Lachman, Robert (Liz) Wilcox and Anne (George) Leach; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. CHURCHVILLE •Cramer, Mildred A., formerly of Long Eddy, Jamestown, and Ithaca, New York, died June 12, 2007 at age 98. Predeceased by her husband, Roger W. Cramer. Survived by her daughter Barbara (John) Henry of Spencerport; son Bruce (Mary Ann) Cramer of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, James (Diem) Henry, Kathy (Tom) Adair, Christy (Brad) Brewer, Scott (Heather) Cramer; six great grandchildren. Services and interment private in McPeliah Cemetery. HAMLIN •Prince, Edward E. Sr., June 22, 2007, at age 87. He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruth Barrus Prince, 1997, infant son David, 1949. He is survived by his children, Daryl (Debbie) Prince, Kathleen (Michael) Lindner, Edward Jr. (Sandra) Prince, Coleen Farr, Sally Cavagnaro, Daniel Prince, Jeffrey (Dana) Prince; his sis-ter, Eleanor Roney; brother, Duane Prince; brothers and sisters-in-law, Janet Carter, Robert Barrus, Patricia (James) Lucero; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was a World War II vet, Past Chief of Hamlin Fire Depart-ment, 1960-61, retired Monroe County Deputy Sheriff. Funeral Services were held June 27 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Grabowski and his parents, John and Valerie Grabowski. He is survived by his children, Steven (Mary) Grabowski, Lisa (Tom) Swanger, Kelly (Jim) Savary and Johnny Grabowski; grandchildren, Katie, James, Britney, Samantha, Leah, Lindsey and Haley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Gail Paprocki; several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends. Jack retired from Delphi after 30 years of service. A Memorial Mass was said June 30 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Retired in 1992 after 33 years as a teacher with RCSD, a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 84, Monroe County Swim Official, a member of the Brockport Yacht Club, PT Cruiser Club, Games for the Physically Challenged, Special Olympics, Rochester Power Squadron - Boating Safety Instructor, Red Cross - Water Safety Instructor and a Youth Leader of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester.
