Child safety seat event set at Hilton Fire Department

County Legislator Dick Yolevich, along with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department, will be hosting a child safety seat fitting station on Saturday, July 14 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Hilton Fire Station, 135 South Avenue, Hilton.

Nationally certified technicians will be available to help parents inspect their current child safety seats to ensure that they are safe and properly installed. Safety seat checks are done by appointment only, and space is limited. Call 753-4700 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to reserve a time.

The Hilton Fire Department will also run its Child Fire Safety Trailer on July 14.
