Five little visitors surprise Hamlin Seniors

A surprise visit from the Barreriro Quintuplets delighted the Hamlin Seniors during their June 26 meeting. The five, 18-month old visitors, Dar'on, Jomar, Zoraelis, Emealis and Lysmarie, their six-year old sister, Soleemar, and parents Carlos and Marisol, arrived shortly after lunch and quickly charmed the seniors with their smiles and energy.

Don Rabjohn, president of the Hamlin Seniors, who had the idea to invite the quints, built the suspense awaiting the quints arrival by telling the seniors that it was going to be better than a visit from Santa. Arriving in yellow T-shirts emblazoned Future Hamlin Senior, which were provided by Don and Linda Rabjohn, the quints and their family were roundly applauded by the seniors. The oohs and aahs elicited by the quints and the smiles they brought to the seniors were more than equal to any visit from Santa, according to those in attendance.

Despite the long preparation process for any trip outside the house, mother Marisol said the quintuplets are always excited when she tells them they're going "bye, bye." Their excitement was definitely shared by the Hamlin Seniors, who sincerely appreciated the efforts the family made to make this special visit possible.
