White House visit
Robert MacClaren, third row, third from the left, visited the White House with the Penn State Fencing team. The team attending Champions Day at the White House where they were recognized for their 10th NCAA Division I National Title. The team toured the White House, had time to talk to the President, and enjoyed a ceremony on the South Lawn. The video of the full speech given by the President is up on the White House website. MacClaren completed his first year in the pre-law program at Penn State University Park, where he is a dean's list student in the Schreyer Honors College, majoring in crime, law and justice with a dual major in sociology. He is a member of the men's foil squad. He lives in Holley with his parents Marc and Mary Beth MacClaren and younger brother Casey. He is a 2006 graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School.
