Kelsy Allessi, a fifth grade student at Village Elementary School in Hilton, met Sally Valentine, local author of The Ghost of the Charlotte Lighthouse. Allessi wrote a book report and made a model lighthouse based on the author's book. The model was part of a display at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Greece. When the author heard of the project and book report, she came to the bookstore to meet with Kelsy. Valentine signed Allessi's book and Kelsy gave her the model to keep as a remembrance.
