On May 18 and 19, the MOMS Club of Clarkson/Hamlin held a garage sale to benefit the "Help Hamlin Kids" playground fund. Members of the group donated items for the sale, as well as their time to organize and run it. The group raised $1,055 which they presented to Nicole Sercu of the playground committee, at their June meeting. MOMS Club is an international group for mothers who stay home or work part time and are looking for support within their community. The Hamlin/Clarkson group is a local chapter that meets once a month.
