Ranger fall sport preseason meeting set for August 27
Hosted by the Spencerport Sports Booster Club and the Spencerport Rangers Athletic Department, the fall 2007 season V/JV parent and student-athlete preseason meeting will be held on Monday, August 27. Dinner options will be offered for sale beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the High School Football Stadium concession stand. The meeting will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the High School Performing Arts Center and will include a presentation by John Pelin, director of athletics, followed by individual team sport meetings.
The meeting is required for all Varsity and JV student-athletes who will be playing a fall sport, along with at least one parent/guardian.
The agenda is:
5:30 to 6:30 - SSBC Dinner and Membership Sign-Up at the High School Football Stadium Concession Stand* (*Rain site will be the High School East Cafeteria)
6:30 to 6:45 - Move to High School Performing Arts Center
6:45 to 7:45 - Introduction to Spencerport Rangers Athletics by including information from John Pelin and Spencerport cheerleaders representatives, introduction of coaching staff and teams, information from the Spencerport Sports Booster Club and other sports program aspects.
7:45 to 8:15 - Individual team meetings with varsity coach, distribution of Parent/Student-Athlete Brochure, review of expectations, signing of Code of Conduct agreement, distribution of practice and game calendars and a question and answer period.
The Modified A & B fall parent and student-athlete meeting will be held on Saturday, September 18 from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Cosgrove Auditorium.
