Spencerport K of C recognized

The Knights of Columbus Council #7707 of Spencerport received the New York State Council Star Award for 2006-07. The Star award is a recognition award for K of C Chapters instituted two years ago. This is the first time Council #7707 has earned the award. There are 585 K of C Councils in New York State and only 13 percent earned this prestigious recognition. The award is given to councils that have added a target number of new members and who have also participated in at least four activities during the year in each of the five activity areas.
