Holley Middle School/High School welcomes Hendel back as interim principal

Paul Hendel returns to Holley Middle School/High School for the start of the 2007-08 school year. The Board of Education approved his appointment as interim principal at its August 20 meeting. Hendel, a Holley graduate and longtime resident, served as interim principal from September to December 2005. He and his wife, Ginny, also have two children who are Holley graduates.

Hendel retired from his job as principal of Sweet Home High School in Amherst, NY about two years ago. Before his job in Amherst, he was assistant principal at Olympia and Arcadia High Schools in Greece.

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work again with the students and staff at Holley," said Hendel. "And I can't wait for the school year to begin."
