Hilton honors firemen and other heroes of September 11

The film, "We Were Also Killed" will be shown Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 59 Henry Street, Hilton. Veterans For Peace, Keemer-Riordon Chapter and Rochester 9/11 Truth are sponsoring the 45-minute film.

Seventy percent of the firefighters who risked their lives on September 11, 2001 now have serious and often terminal lung conditions. Many have died prematurely. All of the rescue dogs have died. Other first responders and workers have been similarly affected. A discussion will follow. DVDs of the film and other information will be available.

The Community Center is wheelchair accessible from the north entrance. The event is free and open to the public. For information call (585) 392-5432.
