A bear was spotted in the town of Parma on Moul Road on Friday, September 7 around 2 p.m. in front of the home of Maureen Grisdale, where she took its picture. It walked around checking where it had gotten into the garbage the day before and checked around the mailbox area. The bear then wandered into the cornfield. An hour later, Grisdale spotted it coming out of the field, cross the road and go into a wooded area. Submitted photo.
