Primary voting for September 18
Registered voters will be asked to make choices in two elections in the readership area in the Tuesday, September 18 primary.
Incumbent Dick Yolevich, who is running on the Republican ticket, will face off against political newcomer Todd Dunn, a Democrat, in the legislative seat for District 1 in Monroe County. Both men are vying for the Independence line for the November ballot. Yolevich had declared his intention for the Independence line, Dunn is seeking write-in votes.
Voting will be from noon to 9 p.m. Residents in District 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 11 will vote at Parma Town Hall; Firemen's Exempt Hall, South Avenue, Hilton will be for voters in Districts 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
In the Town of Murray, Republican incumbent for supervisor Hank Lehning will be in the primary against William Herring, who is also seeking the Republican line on the November ballot.
Voters in District 1, 5, 6 will vote in the Murray Town Hall and voters in Districts 2, 3, 4 will vote at the American Legion in Holley from noon to 9 p.m.
