horseshoe pitching title Mike DiMartino of Churchville won his ninth NYS Horseshoe pitching title in Waterloo, New York over Labor Day Weekend. The 66-year-old veteran went 7-0 in head-to-head matches with 73 percent ringers percentages. He says his mentor, Carl Steinfeldt, of Rochester, has the record with 22 state titles.
