Field Crop Dealer meeting in October
Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team will be sponsoring the 2007 Field Crop Dealer Meeting on October 25 at the Batavia Party House, Route 5, in Batavia.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 9:50 a.m. There will be no pre-registration for this event. Cost will be $35 including lunch or $20 for the program only.
The agenda features topics of current interest to those involved in field crop production such as Corn Hybrid Trait and Soybean Seed Treatment Studies, Disease and Mycotoxin Threats, New Corn Herbicides, Late Season Stalk Nitrate Tests, Burning Issues in Grass Biomass, and Glyphosate-Resistant Weeds. Copies of the 2008 Cornell Guide for Integrated Field Crop Management will also be available.
