•DiNatale, Sebastian J., Formerly of Rochester. On September 16, 2007 at age 85. Predeceased by his father and mother, Florio and Josephine DiNatale; brothers, Paul and Charles DiNatale. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Josephine (Nesta) DiNatale; children Florence Bambino (Richard McInnis) of Florida, Valerie (Michael) Sarsfield, David (Judy) DiNatale of New Hampshire, Janet (John) Meagher, Mark DiNatale; grandchildren, Adam Sarsfield, Danielle (Michael) Chirico, Lauren and Kara DiNatale, Erika, Benjamin and Nicholas DiNatale, Patrick Meagher; great granddaughter, Kiarra Chirico; brother, James (Christine) DiNatale; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Hilda DiNatale, Charles and Sally Nesta; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

•Dunn, Linda J. (Wilson), formerly of Brockport, died August 31, 2007. She is predeceased by father Barney Wilson, sister Mary Ann, grandmother Eva Merget, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Wilson, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by husband of 38 years, Bill Dunn; son James; daughter Tammy; granddaughter Ashley Payton; mother Jeannette Wilson; sister Robin Wilson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were held September 7 in California.


•Higgins, James F., On September 17, 2007. He is predeceased by his wife of 54 years Maryanne. Survived by his wife Luella; sons Timothy and Michael (Gail Forward); grandsons Aaron, David (Kate Gilbert), Matthew and Phillip; great-grandchildren Emalee and Trey Higgins; sister Marion Fullam; brother William and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service was held September 22 at the Walker Bible Baptist Church.

•Fodge, James M., September 11, 2007 at age 92. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth M. Fodge; his sister Mary Fodge, his brothers John and Charles Fodge. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Carter, Henrietta, September 18, 2007. She is predeceased by her grandson, Craig and is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Paul) Rath; three grandchildren, Carl (Chris), Paul and Karen (Tom) Hetherington; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Luke, Elizabeth, John and Noah; her niece, Audrey Stewart and nephew, James Oldach.

•Pietrowski, Salome M. ("Sally"), September 17, 2007. Predeceased by her son Robert F. Pietrowski. Survived by her children, Barbara (Edward) Barrett, Edward (Mary) Pietrowski and Patricia (Stephen) Morley of California; 17 grandchildren and spouses; many great-grandchildren; brother Stanley Szupa; niece, Judy Hitchcock; great-grand nephew and special cousins.

Bradley, Lyle S. "Brad," September 13, 2007 at age 83. Predeceased by loving wife, Shirley; and daughter, Vicki. Survived by his daughters, Shari (Alfred) Decker and Jan Bradley; grandchildren, Lance (Michele), Anthony, Mark (Jaime) and Jessie; great-grandson, Brandon. Brad was a veteran of both WWII and the Korean War and was an avid square dancer.

SPENCERPORT

Carrigan, Albert C. "Bud," formerly of Watkins Glen, died September 12, 2007, at age 94, courageously sustaining his disability with Parkinson's disease and joined his wife of seventy years Micheline (Saraceni) who died in July. Survived by his devoted daughter, Jacqueline Iovine; granddaughters, Tamie (Randy Banaszak) Laboski, Sherie (Dennis) Pickering; grandson, Matthew (Kelly) Burris; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsay (Jonathan Wallace) Laboski, Kerry Laboski, Ryan Turco, Matthew and Leeann Pickering, Dylan, Andrea and Jake Burris; great-great-grandson, Jack Wallace; several nephews, nieces and friends. Born in Watkins Glen, "Bud" was a retiree from Cargill, working as a plumber/pipe fitter forty-plus years. He also played third baseman for the Pioneers semi-professional ball team in Elmira.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated September 18 at the "Link" at St. Mary's of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Contributions can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, Humane Society or a charity of one's choice in his memory.


Geil, Harold E., "Harry," September 16, 2007, at age 76. He was predeceased by his son, Bruce Geil. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce J. Geil; his children, Robert, Kenneth, James, Kim Marie and David Geil; grandchildren Jamie, Shawna, Steven, John, Nicholas, Rachel and Eric; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Geil; sisters, Hope Johnson, Gloria Geil, Gail DeCarlis; brothers-in-law, Ron (Nicki) Danno, Louis Del Regno and John Johnson; sister-in-law Diane (Michael) Baccari; special cousins, Sue (Doug) Collier; his dear friend Al Richards; many nieces and nephews.

Lewis, Dorothy E., (Dingman), September 17, 2007 at age 101. She was predeceased by her husband, William and her grandson, Jeffrey Olson. She is survived by her children, Gail Olson, James Lewis and Carole (David) Missel; her grandchildren, Lisa (Kenneth) Skender, Michael Lewis, Brenda (Michael) Miller, Brian (Connie) Hilton, Aaron (Kelly) Hilton and Andrew Hilton; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends including Betty Spencer and Dorothy Simpson. She was a member of the Ogden Senior Center.

McGinnity, James E. "Seamus," September 17, 2007 at age 76 after a courageous and valiant battle with mesothelioma. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Margaret McGinnity; his brother, Patrick McGinnity and his sister Dymphna McKenna. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Bridie G. McGinnity; his children Maggie (Mike) Fitzgibbon, James E. (Lynn) McGinnity Jr., John Joseph McGinnity and Kevin W. (Tammy) McGinnity; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Mairead and Shauna Fitzgibbon, Tracie and Mackenzie McGinnity and baby Morgan McGinnity; siblings, Margaret (Donald) Seeley of Webster, Mena (John) Kernahan of England, Una Kilpatrick of Ireland, Joseph (Fedelma) McGinnity of Bergen, Gene (Ruth) McGinnity of Ireland; brother-in-law, Lawrence McKenna of Ireland; hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends from McGinnity's. Seamus was a 35 year member of IBEW Local 86 Rochester, NY and retired in 1992. Since 1973 Seamus and Bridie have ran a successful and well known Rochester Irish Establishment: McGinnity's. He will always be remembered for his passion and love of his family, business and Gaelic sports.

Murphy, William O., September 13, 2007. Survived by his wife, Sharon; sister, Linda (Fred) Otero; nephews, Tony (Lugina) Zambino, Richard Otero; nieces, Felicia Otero, Dorothy Palumbo.

Palmer, John S. (Jack Palmer), Born October 5, 1928. Died September 16, 2007. Predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Hill Palmer, father, John Shepard Palmer and brother, Richard Palmer. Jack leaves his fiancé and family of 42 years, Muriel Hill Albright, Michael Albright, Ervina, Bruce and Taylor Malin; his cousin, Richard G. and Lorraine Hill; sister-in-law, Janice Palmer; nieces, Lisa and Melissa. Jack was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary 04-02 Rochester, an Operating Engineer, and a member of the Union Local 832.

•Scarpulla, George S., September 13, 2007, at age 83 after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille (Bailey); sons, Carl Sr. (Delores), Ronald (Theresa) and Samuel (Edith) Scarpulla; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; brothers, Frank, John, Victor (Angie) Scarpulla; sisters-in-law, Jean (Lawrence) Ferry, Evelyn Bailey and Florence Bailey; many nieces, nephews.

Funeral Services were held September 15 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, Greece. Interment in Furnaceville Cemetery, Ontario, New York. Contri-butions can be directed to the family in his memory.


Weimer, Diana Dodson Raymo, of North Fort Myers, Florida, 70, formerly of Spencerport, died September 11, 2007. She moved to North Fort Myers in 1994. Diana retired from BOCES School Board Administration. Diana is predeceased by her parents Edward and Martha Zimmerman; her first husband, Kenneth Dodson and her second husband, Harold Raymo. Diana is survived by her husband of nine years, Ray Weimer; her sons, Thomas Dodson, Peter (Kimberly) Dodson, Michael (Linda) Dodson, and Dean (Mary Lou) Mousseau. Diana has a sister Ruth (Peter) Bleyler and a brother George Zimmerman. She leaves her grandchildren, Phillip, Victoria, Kierstyn, Cody, Lindsay and Sarah.
