Sweden Senior Center celebrates accreditation

The Sweden Senior Center in Brockport celebrated its national accreditation with events at the center on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15. The center, at 133 State Street, became the first nationally accredited senior center in Monroe County earlier this year. On Saturday, September 15, an open house was held from 1 to 4 p.m with Bud DeTar at the piano. A formal reception with dancing to the live music of the Gateswingers Big Band was held in the evening. Other activities included an open house and program demonstrations.
