Fredonia junior goalkeeper and 2005 Spencerport graduate Becky Scroger defeated Morrisville 7-0 last Friday to register her 15th career shutout and followed with a 2-0 whitewash over St. John Fisher Tuesday to set a new record for career shutouts.

For Scroger, it was her second shutout of the season and followed seven shutouts her freshman season and six more during her sophomore campaign. She began the 2007 season with a 1-0 shutout over Trevecca Nazarene back in August.

Scroger played two seasons at the varsity level for Spencerport before graduating in 2005. She was a winner of the Blue & Gold award twice, signifying winning three varsity letters in one year as a member of the soccer, volleyball and softball.

She also won the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award and the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award in 2005 as well as being a WHAM Sportswoman of the Year nominee. In 2004, Scroger was the Wendy's High School Heisman Award recipient.

Scroger played goal in every game registering a 1.12 goals against average during her freshman and sophomore season with the Blue Devils as the team won 10 and 11 games respectively. This season she has split playing time and earned three of the team's five victories while posting a 1.14 GAA.
