Children's book author to visit Seymour Library

The Seymour Library welcomes Children's Author, Daniel J. Mahoney, on November 2. Mahoney is in the Rochester area for the 11th Annual Children's Book Festival that will be held at Monroe Community College on November 3. He will have two presentations at the library:

The morning session at 11 a.m. is for preschoolers and will last 30 minutes.

The afternoon session at 3:30 p.m. is for school age children grades K-5th grade and will last 60 minutes.

Mahoney is the author and illustrator for The Saturday Escape, The Perfect Clubhouse, and A Really Good Snowman. He has also illustrated The Happy Hippos by Lisa Charlesworth, and Coco the Love Dog by Sue Grundfest, I See a Monster by Laurie Young and a new board book coming out in 2008 Ocean Wonders by Dorothea DePrisco Wang.
