Assemblyman Bill Reilich wrapped up a donation drive and met with Alisa Parmiter, Veterans Outreach Center; (Reilich); and Rick Helbig, veterans Outreach Center. Parmiter and Helbig visited Reilich's district office to gather donations for the Veteran's Outreach Center that had been collected by the Assemblyman throughout the towns of Greece, Ogden and Sweden as a part of his "Support Our Troops" Program. The program received tremendous response throughout the community and especially within the school districts as many schools elected to participate. Because of the overwhelming response the Assemblyman was not only able to send 75 boxes overseas, but made local donations to The Veteran's Outreach Center. Reilich said, "We must support those who do and who have supported and defended our great country." The Veteran's Outreach Center of Rochester offers free, veteran-specific services. A concert will be held Veterans Day, November 11 to support the Veteran's Outreach Center and Gold Star Families.
